Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between FestiDrinkz and Tikkie?
Tikkie is a Dutch payment request app. Tikkie Groepie is a cost splitter: you note who paid an amount and split it afterwards. FestiDrinkz works at drink level: for each round you record who ordered what. That way everyone pays exactly what they had, not an average share of the total.
Do I need an account for FestiDrinkz?
No. You create a group, share the link with your friends and everyone can join straight away. No registration, no password.
Can I also use FestiDrinkz outside festivals?
Yes. FestiDrinkz works for any group outing where someone pays up front: barbecues, city trips, team outings, drinks or a weekend away.
Can I use FestiDrinkz instead of Tikkie Groepie for my sports team?
Yes. Tikkie Groepie keeps track of who paid what. For a team that often gets together in the clubhouse bar, FestiDrinkz has KantineTab: you keep track of the rounds per evening, drink by drink, guests can drink along and the balance runs through to the end of the season. With a laundry rota and an end-of-season settlement.
Is FestiDrinkz free?
Completely free. No subscription, no hidden costs.
You don't need to create anything. Ask whoever started the group for the share link, then you're in straight away.
