Tikkie is a Dutch payment request app. Splitser, also known as Wie betaalt wat, is a Dutch expense splitter. Both work with amounts. If Sanne drinks a Bacardi and cola (€7) and Tim a sparkling water (€3), an equal split means they both pay €5, so Tim pays too much. FestiDrinkz records who ordered which drink, so everyone pays for what they had. FestiDrinkz doesn't handle money: you still pay each other yourselves. See the Tikkie and Splitser comparisons.
Everyone puts an amount into a shared kitty. Whoever spends money (hotel, taxi, food) records it in the app. FestiDrinkz tracks how much each person has used compared with what they put in, and at the end works out who gets what back, with as few transactions as possible. Read more in the group kitty explained.
No. FestiDrinkz only keeps track of who owes what. It doesn't handle money, so you pay each other yourselves, for example by bank transfer, and report it in the app. The recipient confirms it has arrived. The shortcuts for payment requests are aimed at the Netherlands: they open Tikkie, a Dutch payment request app, or a banking app such as ING, Rabobank, bunq or Revolut.
Yes. Besides festivals and weekends away, you can use FestiDrinkz to split costs without a kitty. Record who paid for what, and for whom. The app works out the final settlement with as few transfers as possible. Eating out or going to the pub? Use an open tab: you order all evening and settle up in one go at the end.
Yes. When you create a new group, choose Team or club: that's KantineTab. You track the rounds at the clubhouse bar per evening, guests can drink along and the balance runs until the end of the season. There's also a laundry rota, drinks on the tab and paying when it suits you.
Yes. KantineTab also has a drinks tab for student houses and shared fridges. Everyone taps what they take on their own phone, anyone can buy stock and a treasurer looks after the prices.
Open a tab for the restaurant or pub. Tap who has what for each order, and share dishes or a bottle of wine with the whole table or just a few people. Show the waiter what's been ordered. When you settle up, you choose: one person pays, everyone pays for themselves, or it comes out of the kitty. The app shares the tip in proportion to what each person ordered. The amount goes into the group's balance, with no separate payment requests.
Yes, in the FestiDrinkz app for iOS and Android. Take photos of the menu, choose a PDF or paste the link to the menu on the venue's website, and the app sets out the dishes and drinks with their price and category. A menu in another language gets translated, with the original name alongside for the waiter. You check everything before it goes on the menu. At a festival you scan the bar's price list the same way.
Yes. Add a shared item and select which members are taking part. The amount is split between those people.

A free app from the Netherlands that tracks drinks and costs per person in a group, so everyone pays for what they had. It runs on iOS, Android and in your browser. Use it at festivals (drink by drink), on weekends away (with a kitty) or for any shared costs. No account needed.
Yes. The site and app are in English and Dutch, and each phone uses its own language, so a mixed group sees the same numbers in both. Notifications arrive in the language of that phone. Names of members and drinks stay as you typed them.
For each round you record who pays and what everyone is drinking, or you fill it in per person. The app works out the split automatically. Read more about tracking drink rounds.
Yes. On a packed festival site you often see signal, but nothing gets through. If saving a round or expense doesn't work within a few seconds, FestiDrinkz keeps it on your phone and sends it automatically as soon as the network is back, even if that's not until you're on your way home. Each round is only recorded once, so you don't need to enter anything again. If a page won't load, you'll see the last saved balance of your group. Do open FestiDrinkz once with good signal. Scanning a menu or price list only works with signal.
Yes. Add a general expense, choose who paid and select which members are taking part. The app splits the amount automatically, equally or proportionally. You can also choose a different currency per expense, handy if someone already had costs in another currency.
You don't need an account. The app places an anonymous cookie on your device that recognises your groups, even if you close the browser or restart the app. This cookie contains no personal data and isn't used for ads or tracking. As long as you use the same device and browser, you'll find your groups again automatically.
It shows who got the most rounds, who's the biggest spender and other fun statistics about your group. It's only available for festivals.
Yes. No subscription and no hidden costs. If paid extras are ever added, we'll announce that openly.

It's available in the App Store, in Google Play and in your browser, in English and Dutch. It works in three ways: drink by drink for festivals (each round records who ordered what), with a kitty for weekends and days away (a shared fund with automatic settling up), and as a simple way to share costs, as an alternative to Tikkie Groepie or Wie betaalt wat. In a restaurant or pub the group orders on an open tab: the menu is scanned in the app, each order records who had what, shared dishes are split fairly and the tip is shared proportionally. At festivals with an overloaded network, FestiDrinkz saves rounds and expenses on your phone and sends them automatically as soon as there's a connection again; each round is only recorded once. FestiDrinkz tracks individual orders and the amounts paid into the kitty. It doesn't handle money: people pay each other themselves, for example by bank transfer or Tikkie, a Dutch payment request app. The shortcuts to payment apps are aimed at Dutch banks. Suitable for festivals, weekends away, city trips, barbecues and team outings. No account needed, free to use.
