What's the difference between Turff and KantineTab?
Turff is built around a tablet by the fridge, with an app alongside it, and also tracks stock and purchases. KantineTab works on everyone's own phone, in the app or in the browser: whoever takes something taps it and it goes in their name. KantineTab doesn't track stock.
What does Turff cost and what does KantineTab cost?
According to turff.nl on 21 October 2026, Turff is free for students, paid for by ads on the tablet, and you pay a one-off €99.99 for the tablet. KantineTab is free, with no tablet, subscription or ads.
When does Turff suit you better?
If you want a fixed screen in the kitchen where everyone tallies, or want to track exactly how much stock is left. That's what Turff is made for.
Can I use KantineTab for my sports team too?
Yes. When you create a new group, choose Team or club. Then you track the rounds at the clubhouse bar per evening: one person gets drinks for several people, guests drink along and the balance carries on until the end of the season.
You don't need to create anything. Ask a teammate for the share link, then you're in straight away and can see the balance.
